Bonne soiree
Alas !!! doing something new. I have enrolled to french class at Paradise valley community college. Last friday -9/11( the notorious date) attended the first class. Quite an experience... Learning something new and fresh is always exciting. As a follower of 'Anekant' - new perspective/outlook is always helpful
The faculty name is Monseiur Jean Joseph Fortin - quite an interesting guy; creates an atmosphere of learning and Joy. Eloquent and Energetic.
I joined the class two days late so am bit difficult for me to catch up... but atleast back to school something I always craved for. I will use this stream to post my learnings.
French pronunciations is the most difficult part - but a quick tip for new learner from India - The phonetics can be best represented in Hindi than in English. some sounds are familiar if you relate them more to the mother tongue than English like 'Kha'.
